Yudarini is a public health researcher with extensive experience at the Center for Health Research, Universitas Indonesia since 1988. Her expertise includes health policy and administration, health law, HIV/AIDS, narcotics, ageing health, tuberculosis, reproductive health, health insurance, and social-health research. She has served as a researcher, principal investigator, lecturer, facilitator, and consultant in studies with WHO, UNICEF, the World Bank, SEATCA, BNN, the Ministry of Health, and international academic partners.
