Dien Anshari is a specialist in social and behavioral changes communication. For more than a decade, he has been focusing his research on the effects of certain characteristics in pictorial health warning labels toward different populations. From this line of work he has provided recommendations to the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia for the implementation of pictorial health warning regulation, in Indonesia. Currently he has been working on a broader area of health literacy, including mental health literacy, nutrition literacy, and digital health literacy.
